Our Community's Voices

Hear from some of the individuals and families we have supported:

Shane Roddy

Volunteer

My family deeply appreciates and supports Hero Kids Foundation (HKF) for its holistic approach. They prioritize the entire family and not just the one in uniform. What a great resource!

Marcie R. Fox

Capt with VBPD

I have been fortunate to participate with the opportunities and partnership that HKF has provided to the VBPD families! The activities encourage families to connect in a safe environment and to restore the officer from the daily stress and trauma of this profession. Thank you HKF!

Mark Block

Volunteer

I met John [Raniowski] back in 2014 at a Mounted Games competition, where he told me about his idea for Hero Kids Foundation. He told me how he wanted to give back to military and first responder families experiencing PTSD, and how he wanted to buy a plot of land. I’m proud to have seen these accomplishments firsthand and look forward to what’s to come for HKF!
